Observation of High-Index Carruthian Field - The Philadelphia Experiment

In the 1940's, an experiment was conducted to use interference-patterns of extremely low-frequency electromagnetic emissions to cause light to bend around a battleship, as a form of cloaking at a certain distance. Allegedly, this experiment produced a different result than intended. Instead of cloaking the ship, the interference patterns generated conditions that produced a sudden and high-powered carruthian field. Which then collapsed and created a disposition and shearing event.
The experiment was classified, but correlated to magnetic monopole experiments being conducted by Miokalian physicist, Takobar Hariyamoh. The Philadelphia Experiment, which is still shrouded in mystery by the government of where it took place, is likely the first recorded observation of what is now known as a High-Index Carruthian field.

Hariyamoh's "Five Fundamental Forces" Model

Takobar Hariyamoh was searching for a force-carrying particle or ray that may explain the mechanism of Quantum Entanglement. In his folio, he detailed that the supposed "absurdity" of many behaviors in quantum physics can either be explained by "the addition of untestable, inaccessible and essentially arbitrary dimensions", or by the addition of a fundamental force. Later on, he accepted multidimensionality as part of his model of five fundamental forces.
However, it was his outright rejection of an emerging "22-dimension theory" that led him to search for a simpler explanation.

Observation of Natural Haoroaffectivity - Greyfields' "Phantom Automatic Doors"

According to legend, he first began investigating monopoles and interference patterns as a possible evidence of this theory, after observing how the electric automatic door opener system in a shopping gallery would cause doors at opposite ends of the atrium to accidentally trigger eachother at certain times of day at certain times of year.
The fact the phenomena only occured in certain conditions which shouldn't have any impact of the interference between the devices was an item of curiosity.
Stumped, Hariyamoh concluded that the interference must somehow be effected by photons crossing the wave path in a way which was somehow peculiar to the structure.
This got the attention of Hychachita Doron, who was already working on attempting to quantify occurances of photon-across-waveform interaction. Hariyamoh's studies turned out to reinforce his own.

Superstrings and the Doron's "Strand" Deviation

With the emergence of early superstring theory as a new approach to the much older theory of Unified Forces, Doron observed that the physical explanation of the single-planck-length string seemed to describe a topological view of particle interaction, rather than something supposedly smaller in scale than all known particles. Working from one of Genius of Pargalo's theories about the collapse of dimensionality at reletivistic speeds, he decided to pursue the idea that superstrings could be a physical model to describe the appearance of particles moving faster than the speed of light.
Eventually, he revised this theory and proposed that a tachyon, or particle which travels faster than C would simply appear to be a solid, string-like body (which he called a "Strand" to differentiate it from String Theory). This body would probably have a unique interaction with other particles, but if it were visible, it would appear to be completely solid.

Carruthian Field and the Observation of Harinos

Hariyamoh set out to create experiments to test Doron's and his hypotheses. One of which involved the creation of magnetic monopoles and the observation of their relation to quantum behaviors like Entanglement and Tunneling.
After several attempts, Hariyamoh's team, led by engineer Targa Carruthas, sucessfully 'caused' an entanglement event within a volume using magnetic monopoles generated by the interference patterns of microwave EM radiation. It was later observed that this entanglement event was actually the reduction of the speed of light within the volume. This field of 'altered C' became known as a Carruthian Field. A volume which is defined by the presence of a matrix of neutralized magnetic monopoles.
Later, the Neutralized Magnetic Monopole was named a Harino.

Lomninos - Antiphotons

In experiments with Harinos and Carruthian Fields, early on, there was a problem involving particles passing through the field. When high-energy particles were shot through the field, the expected flare of Cherenkov radiation (photons emitted as a particle passes through a material faster than the speed of light in that material), was nowhere to be found. This defied the calculations which said there should be one.
During an experiment, a lab assistant by the name of Deuter Dosh noticed that the light around the experiment would dim when the carruthian field was in power-up cycle. One day, he used a photographic light-meter to confirm and begin measuring this.
He began setting up a high-frame-rate camera nearby to record this dimming phenomena, which didn't appear to effect other systems. Otherwise it would be easy to assume it was some kind of power drain.
Eventually, Doron confronted Dosh and asked him to remove the camera and to stop "playing with flashlights and light-meters" while experiments were running. Dosh then apparently wrote up a lab report about what he had observed with the dimming. He proposed that the experiment was emitting some kind of "antiphoton" that was somehow canceling out the cherenkov radiation and some of the light in the room.
Doron apparently tacked the report to a wall and made fun of it, without actually reading it.

To prove a point, Dosh turned on the experiment equipment while he was cleaning that night, and left it on for a full 10 hours.
Doron's team was surprised to find the equipment running (it usually only runs for 30 minute segments), but more surprised to find the laboratory filled with an explicable, deep orange tint which was not the work of a gas or fog. After determining that there was no hazard in the air, the team entered the lab and shut the equipment down. Doron arrived and, saw the mystery tint dissipate and the room gradually lighten up. Then he called Dosh and asked him to come to the laboratory immediately.
According to his notes, Doron said,
"The flourescent lamps in the ceiling barely glowed a greenish white, we had to open up all the windows and use sunlight. Which proved to be an exquisite idea, as the sunlight struck our odd air with a tremendous green and orange flair as something otherwise unobserved was taking place around us.
And it was after sitting there, watching the way the sunlight played on every surface of the lab, in a way which was so subtle and unfamiliar in hue and direction, that I realized that this sublime beauty was either the result of an atomized hallucinogen in the air, or that the lab assistant Dosh was on to something."
After reviewing Dosh's tapes and data, Doron appointed him a permanent position on the team.
The particle that Dosh had discovered was later identified to be a kind of selective antiphoton and named a Lomnino.
From the Kohtohkhan root "Lomno" which means "tint" or "leak" depending on connotation.
