Psychology

Haromians are a very violent species, but this had not always been the case. In the earlier years of their existence, they were a logical and highly intelligent race. While they are still smart, events of their history seemed to change then. That change is mostly attributed to the nuclear war that devastated Haroma in about 5000 HY. As a result they became more nationalist and isolationist. By the end of the Great Galactic War, Haromians were closed in and were violently isolationist.

Haromians rarely trust outsiders and don't like non-Haromians interfering with their affairs. In recent years the Haromians have put more and more faith into the government in order to protect them from outsiders. Unlike Earth's humans, Haromians don't place personal freedom before security. In fact, most Haromians prefer to live under an autocratic, monarchical, or totalitarian governments and dislike democratic governments due to the people having too much freedom.

Despite the violent nature of Haromians, they do make for a rather pleasant family; that being the only thing that they'd die to protect, other than their nation.
